SCS-21 SMG (WIP)

A fictional, Warsaw-pact-originated personal defense weapon set in an alternative 1980s timeline. It is a simple open-bolt, blowback-operated firearm.

The weapon is chambered in both 9x18 Makarov and 9x19 Parabellum and weighs ~2.5 kilos (empty).
Magazines are avaliable in 18-round or 30-round capacity.

It is meant to be a very grounded approach to designing fictional firearms, aiming to mimic the real world 70s-80s firearms design aesthetics in a sensible, structural way, rather than designing from silhouettes or shapes.
