Su-45 'Sokol' is an advanced fighter indigenously developed by the S.R.F. based on stolen data from O.D.E.N.'s nano-factories.
Externally, it is very similar to the pre-war S-22/S-37 project, but it would be fitted with the 'Strela' M.I.R.V. missile according to plans.
It features a two-dimensional thrust nozzle design and re-vamped intakes, as well as larger wing surfaces to further enhance its mobility.
The internal weapons bay is smaller than the standard Su-47 in service of ODEN forces, with a capacity of 4x AAMs or 3x guided penetration bombs.
However, the 'STRELA' M.I.R.V. missile that S.R.F. was able to procure in Arclight's facilities greatly enhanced its ability for anti-carrier missions,
mainly thanks to its ability to launch a full saturation attack from one single aircraft.
During various conflicts, the S.R.F. sunk a total of 4 air carriers with the Sokol and the powerful missiles.
The total production number is around 32 to 40, making it one of the rarest fighters to be seen flying over the wastelands. At least 3 units were operated by mercenaries during the Oasis War period, dealing heavy damage to the opposing powers such as the ODEN and the EC forces.
